I don't care who you are. Grad student or Nobelist. In presentations, clarity trumps quantity, and often even quality, of data.
Every. Single. Time.

so very true, so very true.
It doesn't matter if your science is the sexiest thing since optogenetics (what *was* the best thing before sliced bread?), if people don't understand what you are doing, they won't know what you're doing.
I once saw a Nobel Laureate deliver a seminar with slides all in comic sans.
Did you ask them why?
